The blue heron was spot on !!! From contact personnel to housing. Could not be happier with the experience. Thanks for helping with making great memories. 👍😊
We stayed at Blue Heron in May. It is a beautiful home in a great location in charming Mandeville. The decor of the home is beautiful. You can walk to many coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques. The only down side of this home is that the host books two of the bedrooms separately from the main house. And those bedrooms are only separated by a traditional thin interior door. It made for an awkward stay for all. We met one of the guests who was attempting to cancel her reservation because of the lack of privacy. Overall, I would recommend Blue Heron. I would return if we have the ability to book the entire home.
Great location and atmosphere, but the stay itself was disappointing for the price. They renovated the attic into the main master bedroom, and the ceilings were so low we kept hitting our heads over and over. The bed felt very cheap and uncomfortable, and the shower water pressure was awful. Overall, I don’t think it was worth how expensive it was. Oh and extra $300 for additional pet was just sad, when additional guest is $30.
